Our Container Transport Process

We follow a structured, safety-focused process to ensure your container is transported correctly:

Site & Access Assessment
We assess access, ground conditions, overhead hazards, and vehicle entry points at both pickup and delivery locations.
Safe Loading & Securing
Containers are loaded using tilt trays, flatbeds, or specialised equipment, then secured using rated chains and anchor points.
Route Planning & Compliance
We plan the safest and most efficient route, considering height restrictions, weight limits, and local regulations.
Delivery & Placement
Containers are positioned precisely where you need them — on hard, level ground with safe access for future use.
Final Safety Check
We inspect securing points, container condition, and vehicle setup to ensure everything meets compliance standards.

Safety & Compliance

Container transport requires strict adherence to safety regulations. THS ensures:

Correct load restraint
Compliance with HVNL and RMS guidelines
Safe access at pickup and delivery sites
Proper weight distribution
Use of rated chains, straps, and tie-down points
Hazard identification and mitigation
Clear communication between operators and clients

Your container is transported safely, legally, and with full chain-of-responsibility compliance.

Best Practices for Container Delivery

To ensure smooth delivery, we recommend:

Providing clear access for trucks and trailers
Ensuring hard, level ground for container placement
Checking for overhead hazards (trees, wires, structures)
Confirming adequate turning space for heavy vehicles
Preparing the site for safe unloading

If you’re unsure, THS can assess your site and advise on the best placement options.
